A very gray wet Irish day so wet in fact that our planned excursion to Kylemore Abbey and gardens was canceled as flooded roads prevented access. Instead we went to Cong where the village scenes of the movie The Quiet Man were filmed.
More Irish sunshine made for a change in the day's plans as the road to Kylemore Abbey was flooded.

Gorgeous flowers brightened the view on a rainy day at The Lodge at Ashford Castle.
