After a great dinner and night in Glasgow, Scotland, we woke to a nice sunrise as viewed from the glass elevator of our hotel. Next, on to England and a drive through the exquisitely beautiful Lake Country to William Wordsworth's Grasmere.
On the left the Clyde Auditorium, familiarly known as "The Armadillo", is a concert venue in Glasgow, Scotland. The building sits on the site of the now infilled Queen's Dock on the River Clyde.
Gretna Green, Scotland. Location of "runaway weddings" it is a town just across the border from England. The legal age for marriage without parental consent was significantly lower in Scotland.
